Pregnant For My Divorced Husband

The beginning

1 - The beginning - Brighton City

"Congratulations, you are twenty days pregnant," Eleanor couldn't stop smiling as she received the doctor's report. She left the doctor's office and immediately called her husband, but he didn't answer any of her calls.

Maybe he is busy. I should go to his office and inform him, Eleanor decided and immediately took a cab to her husband's company. Once she arrived at his company, she paid the cab driver and passed through the gate. Since she was an employee there, she wasn't stopped or questioned.

Eleanor proceeded to the elevator, pressed the button for the top floor, and soon arrived at her destination.

"Yes, ma'am, how can I help you?" Her husband's secretary immediately asked as soon as she stepped out of the elevator. Although she was married to the boss, this secret wasn't known to the workers in the company.

"Can I see the boss?"

"I'm sorry, but the boss is busy and doesn't want to be disturbed. You can come back or wait here," the secretary informed her.

"Okay, I'll wait," Eleanor happily sat with the secretary to wait for her husband to finish whatever he was busy with. Nine minutes passed, and Eleanor could no longer wait, so she stood up.

"Excuse me, can you please tell the boss that I am here? He will surely see me if you give him my name," Eleanor stood up to ask the secretary.

The secretary shook her head in refusal.

"Please, is he in there with someone?"

"Yes, ma'am, and he doesn't want to be disturbed," the secretary repeated.

Eleanor waited for another ten minutes, and when she could no longer wait, she stood up and rushed to open the door, totally ignoring the secretary's calls.

Eleanor closed the door once she was inside the office, then locked it so that the secretary wouldn't follow her in.

She smiled and took out the medical report from her bag and stared at it one more time.

"He is going to love this," Eleanor blushed as she went further into the office but paused as soon as she heard a suspiciously familiar voice calling out the name of her husband.

"Ohhh Jaxon..."

"Oh my gosh, don't stop... Jaxon, please..."

"Ahh yes! I love you, Jaxon..."

Eleanor listened to these words, or rather moans, with a confused expression.

What is happening?

Is her husband cheating?

Eleanor swallowed her saliva and forced herself to take a few more steps into the office, and there she witnessed one of the most shocking events of her life.

Her stepsister was straddling her husband with her pants pulled down. She was sitting directly on his penis, and her buttocks were bouncing back and forth on his. Were they...???

The medical report slipped from her hand, and tears immediately clouded her vision.

What is going on?

Why is Riley back? And why is she on my husband's penis?

"Ja... Jaxon," Eleanor whispered, calling.

Jaxon immediately noticed her and stopped. Riley reluctantly got down and adjusted her pants.

"Eleanor, why are you here?" Jaxon said as he also adjusted his belt.

"What is going on?" Tears started escaping her eyes as she watched the duo.

"We need to talk, come here," after adjusting his belt, Jaxon grabbed Eleanor's hand and dragged her out of the office, and then he took her to the rooftop.

"What are you doing in my office?" Once they were on the rooftop, Jaxon fired the question at her.

"Why are you with my stepsister?" Eleanor still couldn't stop the tears that continued rushing down from her eyes.

"You shouldn't have visited me without calling," Jaxon grumbled.

"I called you so many times, but you didn't pick up," Eleanor wiped her tears with the back of her hand.

"Let's get a divorce," Jaxon announced after staying silent for three minutes.

"Your stepsister is back, and you know how much I love her. I don't want to lose her like I did three years ago. I want to be with her," Jaxon announced, having a determined look on his face.

Eleanor froze at his words and didn't move until he said his next words.

"The divorce papers are in your room. I've signed mine already. Sign them when you get home and leave at once." With that said, he turned to leave, but Eleanor grabbed his arm and stopped him.

"What about me?" She asked, tears rushing out of her eyes with more speed this time.

"What will I do? We have been married for three years, and today was supposed to be our third wedding anniversary... I... I even came to inform you that I am..."

"I don't care about you, Eleanor. I don't care what you do with your life from now on. I just want to be with your sister, who is my first love. You are the reason I lost her the first time, and I won't lose her a second time." Jaxon stated without looking at her face.

"Noooo, you can't do that to me, Jaxon. You can't cheat on me and then divorce me. You can't do that to me, please."

"We were never meant to be together, Eleanor. Just leave quietly, please." Jaxon snatched his hand and began to leave, but Eleanor ran to his front to stop him again.

"Please... Please have a rethink, look at me. Look at me, Jaxon, you can't even look at me," Eleanor sobbed.

"You look pitiful. I've always pitied you, nothing else, and I only got married to you because you drugged me and made me sleep with you. You also had the guts to spread the news to the paparazzi."

"Noooo, nooo, I was framed, Jaxon. I did none of that, I swear. Jaxon, please listen to me." Eleanor pleaded, but Jaxon didn't listen to her pleas.

Eleanor collapsed on the floor immediately after Jaxon left. The shock from what she witnessed and heard had drained all the energy from her and made her depressed.

Jaxon got back to the office to see Riley hiding a paper in her bag. It was his wife's pregnancy report.

"What is that?"

"It's nothing, my love. Did you get rid of her?" Riley walked up to him and planted a kiss on his lips.

"Yes, we are free of her. I'm free to have you now." Jaxon wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply.

The sound of her ringtone woke her. Eleanor opened her eyes and looked around to discover that she was still on the rooftop. She had passed out when Jaxon left her.

She looked for her phone and saw a missed call from HR, then a message from HR.

"Your attention is needed here at the office quickly." The message read.

Eleanor stood up and cleaned her face a little, then went to the nearest restroom she could find to wash her face properly. Her tears had dried on her face, making her face look quite messy. Her eyes were also red and swollen from crying too much.

Eleanor fixed her hair and forced a smile onto her face.

Jaxon must be joking, or he might be testing me. I don't believe he'll divorce me after three years. Maybe he is just angry. I'll see him at home after work so I can discuss it with him again. For now, I'll take my attention off what he told me and focus on my job. Eleanor gave herself a pep talk before leaving for the HR office.

Today is supposed to be my day off. Why does HR need to see me? Eleanor wondered as she reached his office.

She knocked on his door once and announced her presence before walking into the office.

"Sit down," the middle-aged man urged, and Eleanor took a seat.

"You sent for me, sir."

"Yes, I did. Why are you just coming, and why didn't you pick up your calls?" The middle-aged man looked irritated.

"Your kind doesn't deserve to work here," he added.

What is he saying?

"Sir, you only called me once, and today was supposed to be my day off. I'm not supposed to be here today." Eleanor calmly explained.

"Excuses upon excuses," the middle-aged man scoffed.

He opened his drawer and took out a white envelope, then placed it on the table.

"Take that," he urged, and Eleanor reluctantly took the envelope from the table.

"What is this?" She asked without opening the envelope.

"There is a cheque in there. We no longer need your services, miss. You can leave now. I've got work I need to do," the HR announced and immediately focused his attention on the screen of his computer.

Eleanor stood up with the envelope and walked out of the office without another word. There was no need to ask more questions. Her husband was responsible for this. Jaxon...

Eleanor quietly found her way into a restroom. She entered one of the stalls and locked herself in before letting the tears that had been threatening to escape fall from her eyes.

Tears were still pouring heavily out of Eleanor's eyes when she received a text from one of the maids who worked for her and Jaxon.

What is happening, ma? We were instructed to throw your things out! The text read...
